2022年のグラミー賞のノミネーションが発表されて、ビリー・アイリッシュ、ドージャ・キャット、ジャスティン・ビーバー、オリヴィア・ロドリゴ、J・コール、ジョン・バティステらがノミネート数でリードしている。

現地時間11月23日に行われたYouTubeの生配信でノミネーションは発表されており、授賞式は日本時間2022年2月1日にロサンゼルスで行われる。

J・コールは最優秀ラップ・パフォーマンス賞、最優秀メロディック・ラップ・パフォーマンス賞、最優秀ラップ楽曲賞にノミネートされてラップ部門における最多ノミネートとなっている。ジョン・バティステはアメリカーナ・ルーツとR&Bの両部門にノミネートされて、最優秀レコード賞、最優秀アルバム賞にもノミネートされている。

ビリー・アイリッシュは“Happier Than Ever”で最優秀楽曲賞、最優秀レコード賞、『ハピアー・ザン・エヴァ―』で最優秀アルバム賞にノミネートされている。ドージャ・キャットはシザとの“Kiss Me More”で最優秀楽曲賞と最優秀レコード賞にノミネートされ、『プラネット・ハー』が最優秀アルバム賞にノミネートされている。

オリヴィア・ロドリゴは最優秀アルバム賞、最優秀新人賞にノミネートされ、“Drivers License”が最優秀楽曲賞と最優秀レコード賞にノミネートされている。

ジャスティン・ビーバーは“Peaches”で複数のノミネーションを獲得しており、ABBAは“I Still Have Faith In You”が最優秀レコード賞にノミネートされたことで史上初のグラミー賞ノミネートとなっている。

またジェイ・Zはクインシー・ジョーンズを抜いて史上最多ノミネートを獲得しており、今年3つのノミネーションがあったことで総ノミネート数は83となっている。
