ニルヴァーナは『イン・ユーテロ』の30周年記念盤がリリースされることが発表されている。
ニルヴァーナにとって最後のスタジオ・アルバムは1993年9月21日にリリースされており、『MTVアンプラグド』で有名な“All Apologies”、“Heart Shaped Box”といった楽曲が収録されている。
『イン・ユーテロ』は10月27日に限定の8枚組LPボックス、5枚組CDボックス、1LP＋10インチ・エディション、2枚組CDデラックス・エディション、デジタル・デラックス・エディションなど、複数のフォーマットでリイシューされる。
30周年記念盤には1993年の『ライヴ・イン・ロサンゼルス』、シアトル最後の公演となった1994年の『ライヴ・イン・シアトル』、ローマ公演、スプリングフィールド公演、ニューヨーク公演から6曲のライヴ音源が収録される。
1989年発表のデビュー・アルバム『ブリーチ』を手掛けたジャック・エンディーノによってステレオのサウンドボード音源から再構築されている。
『イン・ユーテロ』のオリジナルの12曲とBサイド曲など5曲のボーナストラックはシカゴ・マスタリング・サービスのボブ・ウェストンによって新たにリマスターされている。
フィジカルのスーパー・デラックス・エディションにはエンジェルが描かれた取り外し可能なフロント・カヴァーのアクリル・パネル、未発表写真が掲載された48ページのハードカバー・ブック、20ページの新デザインのファンジン、ホットロッド・アーティストのクープによるロサンゼルス・ツアー・ポスターのリトグラフ、1993年のレコード店のプロモ用エンジェル・モバイルのレプリカ、3枚のギグ・フライヤー、ロサンゼルスとシアトルのチケット半券2枚、オール・アクセス・ツアー・ラミネート、4枚の布製スティッキー・ツアー・バックステージ・パスが同梱される。
ニルヴァーナについては2021年に『ネヴァーマインド』の再発盤がリリースされている。
