ポール・マッカートニーは今年9月に最新作『エジプト・ステーション』をリリースしており、最新ツアーとなる「フレッシュン・アップ・ツアー」での来日公演を行っている。
名古屋公演ではアンコールで観客からポールへの思いを伝えるサプライズも披露されており、その模様を映像で公開している。

この日の公演では9月にリリースされた最新作からの楽曲“Fuh You”を紹介する時に「次も新曲だがや」と曲を紹介し、“Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”での観客によるシンガロングに対しては「でら最高」と応じるなど、名古屋ならではのMCも飛び出している。
