ウィーザーのセカンド・アルバム『ピンカートン』がリリースから20周年を迎える直前に、アメリカで100万枚に到達している。

これはバンドが自身のソーシャル・メディアで発表したもので、あと8日でリリースから20周年を迎えるタイミングで達成したという。『ピンカートン』は1996年9月24日にリリースされており、今年の9月16日付でアメリカにおけるプラチナ・ディスクを獲得している。
