ポール・マッカートニーは10月18日にオーストラリア・ツアーを開幕させて、ザ・ビートルズの“She’s A Woman”を約20年ぶりに演奏している。
公演はアデレードのエンタテインメント・センターで行われており、11月4日のゴールド・コースト公演まで続くオーストラリア・ツアーの初日となっている。
1年以上ぶりとなったライヴはソロのヒット曲やザ・ビートルズとウイングスの楽曲を含め3時間近くに及ぶものとなっている。
この日、ポール・マッカートニーはザ・ビートルズの“She’s A Woman”を披露してファンを驚かせている。“She’s A Woman”は1964年の最後のシングルとしてリリースされた“I Feel Fine”のBサイドに収録されていた楽曲となっている。
ポール・マッカートニーが“She’s A Woman”をライヴで演奏したのは2004年以来となっている。

ポール・マッカートニーはこの日のライヴをこれまでの「ゴット・バック」ツアーと同様に“Can’t Buy Me Love”で始めており、その後、ウイングスの“Junior’s Farm”と“Letting Go”を披露している。
39曲のセットリストで最新作『マッカートニーIII』からの楽曲は披露されなかったものの、“Come On To Me”、“My Valentine”、“Maybe I’m Amazed”、“Dance Tonight”といったソロ曲が披露されている。

ポール・マッカートニーはオーストラリア・ツアーを行った後、11月14日からはメキシコ＆ブラジル・ツアーをスタートさせる予定となっている。
先日、ポール・マッカートニーはザ・ビートルズのレコーディング・セッションにおいてオノ・ヨーコの存在は「職場干渉」だったと語っている。
また、ポール・マッカートニーはザ・ビートルズの4人として最後の楽曲をAIの力を借りて完成させたことを明かしている。
