クイーン＋アダム・ランバートは現地時間2月16日にシドニーで行われたオーストラリアの大規模な森林火災のためのチャリティ・コンサート「ファイアー・ファイト・オーストラリア」で1985年のライヴ・エイドと同じセットリストを披露している。

クイーンはソーシャル・メディアで「史上初めて」オリジナルでは22分に及ぶパフォーマンスを行ったと投稿している。

ファイアー・ファイト・オーストラリアでクイーンはウェンブリー・スタジアムで行われたライヴ・エイドでフレディ・マーキュリーがコール＆レスポンスを行う映像も流しており、最後は観客に「ファック・ユー」と言うところも使用されている。

ブライアン・メイはファイアー・ファイト・オーストラリアへの出演を打診された際、「ライヴ・エイドのようなもの」になると語っていた。

ファイアー・ファイト・オーストラリアはオーストラリアでテレビ放送も行われている。UKでは2月17日20時より抜粋の映像がスカイ・ワンで放送されることが決定している。

ファイアー・ファイト・オーストラリアにはクイーンのほか、アリス・クーパー、K.D.ラング、ローナン・キーティング、マイケル・ブーブレらも出演している。

オリヴィア・ニュートン・ジョン、ダリル・ブレイスウェイト、ヒルトップ・フーズ、アイスハウス、エイミー・シャーク、ベイカー・ボーイ、北京ダックといったオーストラリアのアーティストもイベントには出演している。
