アレサ・フランクリンは初のレーベルを超えたアンソロジー『アレサ』が2種類の形態で12月2日にリリースされることが決定している。
『アレサ』は50年代の初期作品に始まり、コロンビア、アトランティック、アリスタ時代の定番ヒット曲に加え、未発表デモ、最後のパフォーマンスといわれる2015年の“(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”のライヴ音源などが収録される。
4枚組と1枚組の2種類でリリースされ、最新デジタル・リマスタリングはダン・ハーシュとビル・イングロットが担当している。
