NMEアウォーズ2020の授賞式が現地時間2月12日にブリクストン・アカデミーで開催され、すべての受賞者が明らかになっている。
授賞式ではスロータイとムラ・マサが“Deal Wiv It”で授賞式の幕開けを飾るパフォーマンスを行い、ザ・1975のマット・ヒーリーの紹介でビーバドゥービーが演奏したほか、FKAツイッグスが最新作より“Cellophane”を披露している。ヤングブラッドは“Original Me”と“Braindead!”の2曲を演奏し、AJトレイシーはヒット曲“Ladbroke Grove”を披露している。授賞式はザ・1975による5曲のパフォーマンスで締めくくられている。
授賞式にはテイラー・スウィフトとザ・キュアーがサプライズで出席している。
