ジャック・ホワイトやレディー・ガガらは2027年のソングライターの殿堂にノミネートされている。

ノミネートは「パフォーミング・ソングライター」と「ノン・パフォーミング・ソングライター」の2部門に分けられており、各部門から3組ずつが殿堂入りすることになる。投票は12月14日まで行われ、2027年度の殿堂入りメンバーは来年初頭に発表される予定となっている。

「パフォーミング・ソングライター」部門にはアメリカのジェリー・ベックリーとデューイ・バネル、ブロンディのデボラ・ハリーとクリス・スタイン、ボーイ・ジョージ、ヴィンス・ギル、グランドマスター・メリー・メル、ニーヨ、P!NK、シャキーラ、シーア、ウォーのメンバー、ZZトップのビリー・ギボンズとダスティ・ヒルとフランク・ベアードもノミネートされている。

「ノン・パフォーミング・ソングライター」部門にはドナ・サマーの“Hot Stuff”や“I Feel Love”を共作したピート・ベロッテ、TLCの“No Scrubs”やデスティニーズ・チャイルドの“Bills, Bills, Bills”で知られるキャンディ・バラス、ビヨンセの“Irreplaceable”やリアーナの“Diamonds”を手がけた制作デュオであるスターゲイト、ホイットニー・ヒューストンの“I Wanna Dance with Somebody”や“How Will I Know”を作曲したボーイ・ミーツ・ガール、バックストリート・ボーイズの“I Want It That Way”やイン・シンクの“Bye Bye Bye”を共作したアンドレアス・カールソン、リック・アストリーの“Never Gonna Give You Up”を手がけたストック・エイトケン・ウォーターマン、セミソニックの“Closing Time”やアデルの“Someone Like You”などを手がけたダン・ウィルソンらが候補となっている。
