プリンスは1985年発表のアルバム『アラウンド・ザ・ワールド・イン・ア・デイ』の40周年記念盤が11月21日にリリースされることが決定している。
40周年記念盤はオリジナル・アルバムがリマスターされて、ドルビー・アトモス・ミックスも公開されるほか、収録曲の別ヴァージョン、リミックス、Bサイド曲も収録される。リリース形態は2CD、3LP、デジタルの3種類となっている。
リリースの発表に合わせてアルバム『ウィ・アー・ザ・ワールド』に提供されていた“4 the Tears in Your Eyes”、“Paisley Park (Remix)”、“America”の12インチ・ヴァージョンの音源が公開されている。
合わせて、11月28日に迎える今年のレコード・ストア・デイ・ブラック・フライデーには“Raspberry Beret”、“Paisley Park”、“Pop Life”、“America”というアルバムからの4枚のシングルに“4 The Tears In Your Eyes”の2ヴァージョンを追加した5枚組7インチによるシングル・ボックスセットもリリースされることが決定している。
