グラミー賞は2023年の候補作品を発表しており、ビヨンセ、ケンドリック・ラマー、アデル、ハリー・スタイルズらが多くの部門でノミネートされている。
現地時間11月15日にグラミー賞はYouTubeで生配信を行って、候補作品を発表しており、受賞作品は2023年2月5日に行われる第65回グラミー賞授賞式で発表される。
ビヨンセは最優秀レコード賞や最優秀アルバム賞を含めて9部門でノミネートされて最多となっており、ケンドリック・ラマーが8部門でそれに続いている。
アデルは7部門でノミネートされており、フューチャー、ハリー・スタイルズ、メアリー・J. ブライジ、DJキャレドは6部門でノミネートされているほか、ジェイ・Zは5部門でノミネートされている。ジェイ・Zはこれによってグラミー賞史上、最もノミネートを獲得したアーティストとしてビヨンセと並んでおり、これまでに88の部門でノミネートされている。
注目すべきはビヨンセとアデルが最優秀レコード賞、最優秀アルバム、最優秀楽曲賞で直接対決するのは2017年以来で、この時はアデルが3部門すべてを受賞している。
一方、ウェット・レッグやマネスキンは最優秀新人賞にノミネートされている。
